What’s a Rondoval, in plain English

Rondovals are Sandals’ round, free-standing villa-style suites — think a private villa rather than a hotel-style room. They’re scattered through the resort grounds (not stacked in a building), each with its own private pool, butler service, and a layout designed around what Sandals calls Butler Elite: a personal butler from arrival to departure, in-villa dining, candlelit bath drawing, beach setup, and a level of attention you don’t get in any other room category.

Until now, Rondovals only existed at a handful of Sandals resorts — Sandals Royal Caribbean, Sandals Grande Antigua, Sandals Grenada, Sandals Negril, and most recently Sandals Dunn’s River. Sandals Saint Vincent didn’t have any. That changes November 1.

The three Sky Villas — what makes them unique

The headline news is the three Sky Villas. These are the first Rondoval Butler Villas with private rooftop access anywhere in the Sandals system. Up until now, the closest you could get was a sky pool or sky-class butler suite at Sandals Royal Curaçao. But a fully private rooftop terrace, attached to your own villa, with no shared neighbors above you? That hasn’t existed in Sandals before.

What about the other 17 Rondoval Butler Villas?

The other 17 villas in the new collection are standard Rondoval Butler Villas with Private Pools — no rooftop, but everything else the Sky Villas get: private pool, outdoor soaking tub, butler service, fully stocked bar, 24-hour in-room dining, ground-level living area. These will price below the Sky Villas but still firmly in the Butler Elite tier.

Sandals hasn’t published nightly rates publicly yet for the new categories, but Butler Elite tier at Sandals Saint Vincent generally starts at around $900 per person per night and goes up depending on season, sale stack, and category. Based on current Butler Elite pricing patterns at the resort, here’s a realistic budget range for a 7-night stay for two people in a standard Rondoval Butler Villa:
