Which Beaches Village should I book?

One of the nice things with Beaches Turks and Caicos that that the resort is broken down into villages.  This does not mean you can’t go to other villages, it just makes navigating the resort easier when you are looking for restaurants or the Pirates Water Park, etc.

The villages also help you with what price point you want to book for your family vacation.  Of course, you can find outliers in different room categories in the different villages but for the most part you will find the most affordable rooms in the French Village and the most expensive rooms in Old Key West.  The Italian Village is my personal favorite and the Caribbean Village is centrally located on the property.

Old Key West – Ultimate Luxury

Yes it does look like Old Key West and it’s really pretty too.  This area at Beaches is to the far right when you are facing the beach.  There are accommodations for 4-12 people and even private pool ocean side villas that sleep up to 12 that come with butler service.  Yes I have been in these private villas and they are gorgeous.

Insider Tip:  We all would love to stay in a private beach front villas with a butler, but spending that kind of cash is not for every occasion.  So let me give you some advice if I can.  Book what you can afford.  I say this because Beaches Turks and Caicos is all inclusive, and when I say All Inclusive I mean it.  Some all inclusive family resorts give you a wrist band and depending on what you booked is what you get access to.  That is NOT how Beaches Turks works.  You can book an entry level room in the French Village and eat at the same restaurants as the family that booked the private beach front villa.  You see what I am saying here.  Book what you can afford and enjoy the resort to it’s fullest.

Italian Village – Best Location

This is my favorite for many reason.  First I love the location.  You are close to the beach, and you are right next to the main feature pool at Beaches.  This is the pool that has all the activities during the day.  Also the Italian village has some butler level suites that I love.  Look, I normally don’t get a butler, but on my last trip we had the best butlers ever and now I am spoiled.  I can get into why I loved our butlers so much.

Butler aside, the Italian Village is a perfect location at the resort and you will often find most people coming over to this pool area from the other areas of the resort.  I have been IN every pool at Beaches Turks and Caico.

On my last trip in September I made sure I went in every pool, down every water slide and on a tub in the lazy river too.  None of the pools are “bad” but this pool area at the Italian village speaks to me.  “Sono la migliore piscina”, that’s Italian for I am the best pool.

Caribbean Village – Tropical Paradise

There are some hidden gem rooms in the Caribbean Village that I adore.  It is this room right here: The Seaside two bedroom luxury Butler villa and it sleeps 8.

French Village – Best Value

The French Village at Beaches is where you are going to get the best bang for your buck.  But you need to understand that these rooms are dated and also have nice garden views, but are the farthest from the actual beach.  There is a very nice feature main pool in the French Village and you are close to the outdoor perfornace stage so you can get some noise at night from stage performances.  The pirate island water park is also right next to the French Village so if your kids plan on spending most of there time at the water park, this is a good location.

Best Family Beaches, Grace Bay Beach

Providenciales – Turks and Caicos has what I would consider one of th e best beaches in the Caribbean.  When you think of a postcard this is the beach.  Grace Bay Beach at Beaches Resort is stunning.  Calm waters with a shallow entry makes this a family beach with little ones.  The blues and greens on the crystal clear water are unreal.  This beach is also wide and long with loads of beach chairs set up by the Beaches Resort.  I have taken so many videos on this beach and almost every time there are just a handful of people here.

Insider Tip:  If you take yuour snorkel gear and just walk down the beach about 10-15 minutes there is a perfec  reef area that you can explore.

Beaches Water Park – Included

I never knew my legs were so hairy until I took this photo on one of the slides :).

Pirate Bay is a full size water park that is part of your Beaches Turls and Caicos all inclusive stay.  Even as an adult I spent a good part of a day here so I could do all the slide, the lazy river, swim up pool bar for kids and also the food trucks.  There is a surf simulator and a large little kids splash / play area will all sorts of water play interactive features.  They are lounge chairs and a tropical environment and the lazy river even goes under a cave section.

Now getting tubes for the lazy river can be a challenge at times so that was the only thing, but wait just a few minutes by one of the exit areas and you will be able to score a tube for your slides and river journey.

What’s there to do at Beaches Turks and Caicos

Beaches Resorts have no lack of activities, water sports and more.  If you want to Scuba, it’s included. Up to two dives a day.  That’s a deal!  Also I went snorkeling, I had a guide take us on a Hobie Cat, there are paddle boards too.  The water park we already discussed and it’s so much fun for all ages.  There are loads of dining options, pools, places to grab a chair and relax too.  If you like pool bars and all incluaive cocktails and a float to drift around the pools, you can do that too.

There are kids activities, kids clubs, a night club, nightly entertainment, Sesame Street stage shows, Sesame Street Parades, a game room, an X Box Lounge for all ages…

Needless to say you are not going to run out of things to do at Beaches.  There is also Island Routes where you can book island excursions too and I am happy to help you plan and book those before arrival to make sure you get them before they sell out.

Beaches Pools

On my last trip to Beaches Turks and Caicos I made it my mission to swim in every pool.  I lost count but there are at least 10 pools I dipped my toes into.  Some have pool swim up bars, some are quite pools and some have cocktail service pool side.  We enjoyed all of them and the different vibe each pool area brings.  I do have my favorite pool(s) so reach out to me and I’ll share 🙂

Beaches Resorts Sesame Street Activities

I met with the councilors at Beaches Turks and Caicos and also met with them at Beaches Resort in Negril.  I will put together an article about their Autism programs later as well.

I try to make sure I don’t get kids in photos so that is why the kids club looks empty in these photos, but there are guests and kids and camp counselors here.
